Society of St. Vincent de Paul
Organized locally, Vincentians witness God's love by embracing all works of charity and justice. The Society collaborates with other people of good will in relieving need and addressing its causes, making no distinction in those served, because in them Vincentians see the face of Christ.
Our St. Anthony conference is made up of 11 individuals from the parish who seek to enrich their own lives by helping others in need. In making home visits and meeting the less fortunate face to face, they are able to better understand their situation. The society works hand-in-hand with Simon House to help the less fortunate with the necessities of daily living that they cannot afford such as rent, housing, food, clothing, household goods and medicine.
The church has a “donation box” at each entrance for those who wish who help with funds to keep our mission alive. There is also a box at the front entrance for food donations which go to the Simon House food pantry.
